The stage was set in the middle of the Banquet Hall: two tall poles strapped up to the ceiling, several logs strategically placed at one end of the stage, two tree-sized trunks at the other end of the stage, axes, saws, chainsaws, a circular section of a log propped up on a stand like a target, bright lights and lots of wood-chips and sawdust. Part of the stage encompassed a large water-filled pool with a huge log floating in it. Our dinner tables, decked out with various woodsy center-pieces, surrounded this huge stage. The announcer introduced the two lumberjacks and suggested those of us on THIS side of the room root for the Canadian (wearing the red IronJack muscle-shirt) and the guests on THAT side of the room root for the Americian lumberjack (wearing the blue IronJack muscle-shirt).
The announcer warned everyone that wood-chips DO fly quite some distance..... and he was right.
The entire show was repeated later in the evening. Here are shots taken during both shows, not necessarily in program order.
