At PSAP PostCards, you'll find a unique gallery of Public Safety Communications graphics and images to use in designing a Digital Postcard for friends, family and loved ones who have a clue about 9-1-1.

Please have a look at the generic sample postcard. Or consult the Digital Postcard FAQ.

How can I write or read my Digital Postcards?

Just visit the Welcome page, where you can select a postcard language; we're multi-lingual.

When writing a postcard, you will be able to customize its layout by choosing optional pictures and sounds. Once you've submitted that form, you'll be presented with a postcard preview, which will show you exactly what your recipient will see once he or she accesses the postcard service to retrieve it. At that point, you can change the settings in case you don't like your card.

You'll be able to send the card immediately or choose a "delayed delivery" - that way, you can plan ahead instead of trying to get here on a particular day of special significance.

In addition to the PSAP PostCard specials, you'll be able to access an immense archive of other types of pictures - cartoons, photographs, "traditional" greeting card graphics, etc. - to select when you want to send an unforgettable message to anyone else with Internet access, e-mail and a web browser. (After all, not everyone you know is a dispatcher, right? Perhaps your grandmother is on-line now, or your real estate agent, or your dentist, or.... any number of acquaintenances.)

The few small examples scattered about on this page are only a portion of the unique PSAP PostCards you can send from The Break Room Message Center - and more are being added all the time!

Actual cards are larger than the thumbnail images shown here.
Just click the picture to see the full size version.

If you've happened to arrive here from some other site and aren't a dispatcher, don't despair! You are certainly not restricted to the specially featured 9-1-1 and dispatcher graphics. And in case you're wondering, "PSAP" stands for Public Safety Answering Point - it's the perfect "industry" term for the place where your local 9-1-1 dispatcher works to help keep you safe.

So, peruse the PSAP PostCard specials or select any of an incredible number of other images to send a Digital Postcards for any reason - or for no reason at all. You'll make somebody's day!

And if you know a dispatcher, you could even send him or her a card of appreciation.

You can even send the same card to more than one person at a time; just take care so you won't be accused of spamming anyone, okay?

Recipients are be notified about their postcards in simple e-mail messages. They will also be informed about their card's location on the postcard server. They'll be provided with a unique claim check number that all recipients need to enter to request their postcards.

Here at PSAP PostCards, there are special occasion cards, birthday cards, cards for the holidays, cards for no reason but to put a smile on someone's face, and even a card congratulating the arrival of a new baby or getting hired as a 9-1-1 dispatcher! (I've posted some photographs of local Monterey Peninsula sights and quite a few of the way my Comm Center used to look, as well as some CHP-specific pictures.)

There are even sympathy cards for the loss of a pet.

If none of our special images appeal to you, select from the huge archives also available directly through the postcard service. You can even upload your own images to use, if you like.

If your intended recipient has speakers and a sound card, add music to the card for extra-special significance. (As with images, sound files can also be uploaded to use on your card!)

It is important to note that all PSAP PostCards are copyright of The Break Room and permission is only granted to use these images for the express purpose of sending a digital greeting card.

Have fun!
